The website that provides an easy to use Mortgage Calculator
I have seen plenty of adverts about Go Direct, and their website I wanted to see for myself, exactly what they offered. Being a bit of a cynic when it comes to financial service providers and brokers, I wanted to see what made this company different. After all, in my experience brokers generally tend to be commission hungry sharks, with little in the way of ethics, so I was not expecting to see anything different. So, at this point I will start to eat some humble pie. Go Direct are different in their approach, the use of online services such as this, put the power to the customer, rather than being pressured face to face by a smooth man in a suite driving a Ford Mondeo. I had a look at the website, and browsed the various services that they had on offer, all of which were neatly laid out, with a number of interactive links, leading to explanations about some of the various financial jargons that are so often used. Well, that was a good start, for this old cynic. The mortgage section was of interest to me, as it is a market that has always had a little bit of controversy in the way that people have been sold or mis-sold mortgage products.
Provides financial advices
The first thing that I noticed was a mortgage calculator, which immediately seemed to be a good idea, as it would enable customers to calculate their mortgage payments, and also their likely mortgage offers. Well, for me that was refreshing, as I could do my mortgage calculations in the comfort of my own home without having to go through all of the usual sales spiel, so that was another positive point. The mortgage calculator was easy to use, even for an old codger like me and after inputting my details in, I was presented with a simple calculation of what my mortgage payments would be and of course my mortgage entitlement. I’d managed to do all of this, without even having to sit down with a broker, which gave me a great sense of empowerment. In fact I was actually saying what I wanted, rather than being told what I wanted. Whilst, I was not actually looking for a mortgage for myself, I was comfortable enough with my experience of going through the procedure from the mortgage calculator to the quotes that Go Direct are a personal finance company that are providing a client centred approach, which is trying to make the minefield of personal finance easier to navigate. As my daughter is currently house hunting, I have recommended her to check out Go Direct in relation to all of her personal finance needs such as life insurance and mortgages. She has already said that she has had a provisional mortgage offer, and now only needs to find the right property before she can make a move.
